New (old) music from Taylor Swift!
On Friday, the 28-year-old songstress released two songs for Spotify‘s Singles series — a folksy version of Earth, Wind & Fire‘s September and and acoustic take on her hit Delicate!
Unfortunately for her, Twitter was NOT about about her cover of the iconic track, and you can see why (below):
If you were curious to hear what unseasoned boiled chicken breast sounded like in song, take a listen to Taylor Swift cover Earth, Wind & Fire. https://t.co/5x1Ecwc1cw

I like Taylor Swift. I do.
But I only made it thru 15 seconds of her September cover. WTF, Taylor?

I *like* Taylor Swift, but this is an awful idea

Taylor Swift puts raisins in her potato salad – she should not be covering Earth Wind and Fire.

Honestly, if Taylor Swift would have sang it the same way Earth, Wind & Fire did, she probably would have gotten just as much crap if not more for that as well… So 🤷🏻♀️

Well, you can listen to it (below), along with Delicate!
P.S. Did U catch T. Swift’s reference to September 28 on her cover? Perhaps a special anniversary with Joe Alwyn?
We’re guessing that’s why she decided to give the song a shot, though she might be regretting that now after seeing all the backlash!
What did U think of it??
